F & S Foundation Uganda is a registered non-profit organization based in Uganda, striving to break the cycle of poverty and create a world where every child, parent, and caregiver can thrive.

While registering with F & S Foundation Uganda, some personal data may be collected. This may include:

- Friendly or personal address

- Personal background (in case you are a long-term sponsor)

- Transparency and Accountability: Collecting personal data transparently helps build trust with funders by demonstrating accountability in how their contributions are managed and utilized.

- Gratitude and Recognition: Personal data allows us to express gratitude and recognition to funders, such as through personalized thank-you letters or acknowledgment in annual reports.

- Research and Feedback: Funders’ personal data can be used for research purposes or to gather feedback on fundraising campaigns, helping us improve our strategies and offerings.

Advocacy and Awareness
We aim to increase public awareness and understanding of child education through advocacy campaigns, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives.
Capacity Building
We strive to enhance the capacity of local communities, organizations, and stakeholders to address economic problems through training, skill-building workshops, and technical assistance programs.
Policy Influence
We advocate for policy reforms and changes at local, national, and international levels to address systemic issues and promote equitable and sustainable solutions.
Empowerment
We empower marginalized and vulnerable groups, including women, children, persons with disabilities, and minorities, to advocate for their rights, access resources, and participate in decision-making processes.
Health and Well-being
We work to improve the health and well-being of communities by providing access to essential healthcare services, nutrition programs, sanitation facilities, and disease prevention initiatives.
Education and Lifelong Learning
We enhance access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for children, youth, and adults, with a focus on marginalized and underserved populations.
Environmental Conservation
We protect and conserve natural resources, biodiversity, and ecosystems through sustainable land management practices, reforestation efforts, and environmental education campaigns.
Humanitarian Assistance
We provide emergency relief and humanitarian assistance to communities affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and other crises, including shelter, food aid, water, and sanitation services.
Economic Empowerment
We promote economic opportunities, entrepreneurship, and income-generating activities to alleviate poverty, create sustainable livelihoods, and foster economic resilience among vulnerable populations.
Social Justice and Human Rights
We advance social justice, equality, and human rights by combating discrimination, violence, and injustice, and promoting inclusive and participatory approaches to development.
Donations and Contributions
Donations made to F & S Foundation Uganda are voluntary and non-refundable. All funds received will be allocated towards our programs or initiatives. Donors may request information about the allocation of their donations.
Beneficiary Rights and Responsibilities
Beneficiaries have the right to access F & S Foundation Uganda services without discrimination. They are expected to adhere to program guidelines and participate actively in initiatives.
Privacy and Data Protection
F & S Foundation Uganda respects the privacy of stakeholders and complies with applicable data protection laws. Personal data collected will be used solely for donor communication, volunteer management, and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and intellectual property created by F & S Foundation Uganda remain the property of the organization. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our intellectual property is prohibited.
Code of Conduct and Ethics
F & S Foundation Uganda expects all stakeholders to conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
F & S Foundation Uganda complies with all applicable laws and regulations governing its operations. Stakeholders are expected to adhere to local, national, and international laws when engaging with the organization.
Termination and Dispute Resolution
F & S Foundation Uganda reserves the right to terminate relationships with stakeholders for breach of terms or misconduct. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration in accordance with our policies.
Updates and Amendments
F & S Foundation Uganda reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions as necessary. Stakeholders will be notified of any changes, and continued engagement implies acceptance of the revised terms.
Refund of Donated Goods or Services
Non-Refundable Donations
Certain donations may be designated as non-refundable, such as contributions to specific campaigns, projects, or funds. Donors will be informed in advance if their donation is non-refundable and should consider this before making a contribution.
Completed Transactions
If a donation has already been utilized or disbursed for its intended purpose by F & S Foundation Uganda, it may not be feasible to refund the donation. Once funds have been allocated towards programmatic activities or operational expenses, they are no longer available for refund.
Administrative Costs
In some cases, a portion of the donation may be allocated towards covering administrative costs associated with processing the donation, issuing receipts, or managing donor records. These administrative fees will be non-refundable.
Event Registrations
Donations made in exchange for event registrations, such as ticket purchases for fundraisers, conferences, or galas, are often non-refundable. This is because we incur costs related to event planning, venue reservations, and logistics based on the number of registered attendees.
Merchandise Purchases
Donations made in exchange for merchandise, such as t-shirts, mugs, or other branded items, will be non-refundable due to the costs involved in producing and shipping the merchandise.
Processing Fees
Donations made via certain payment methods, such as credit cards or online payment platforms, may be subject to processing fees charged by the payment processor. These processing fees are typically non-refundable and may be deducted from the refunded amount, if applicable.
Regulatory Compliance
In some cases, legal or regulatory requirements may prevent F & S Foundation Uganda from issuing refunds for donations. This could be due to restrictions on the use of charitable funds or limitations on financial transactions imposed by relevant authorities.
Donor Intent
Donors may choose to make a non-refundable donation as an expression of their commitment to supporting the mission and objectives of the NGO. By designating their contribution as non-refundable, donors demonstrate their trust in the organization’s ability to use their funds responsibly and effectively.
Legal Obligations
F & S Foundation Uganda may have legal obligations or restrictions that prevent them from refunding certain donations. This could be due to regulations governing our contractual agreements with donors or funding partners.
Irrevocable Trusts or Endowments
Donations made to establish irrevocable trusts or endowments are typically considered permanent and may not be refunded. These funds are often invested to generate income to support our long-term sustainability and are subject to specific legal and financial restrictions.
Donor Wishes
If a donor explicitly wishes for their donation to be non-refundable, this request will be honored by F & S Foundation Uganda. We respect the intentions of our donors and will follow any instructions provided regarding the handling of their contributions.
